Raised in Uganda, Emmanuel was happy to return to Rwanda as an adult and to help find solutions to his community’s challenges. A father of four working as a security manager for a hotel in Kigali, Emmanuel began drinking Jibu water and was excited to learn about a new business opportunity. He began taking Jibu water to his neighbor’s homes and building their trust that the water was clean and cheap. After opening a microfranchise, within 7 months Emmanuel was selling more than 1,000 liters of water per day. With his microfranchise success, Emmanuel soon opened a full franchise.
