October has been an eventful month for Jibu Inc. Our headliner for this October was the official launch of Jibu Ghana on the 5th. Headquartered Madina, Accra – the country’s capital, Jibu is all set to provide the Ghanaian market with safe and affordable water.
As the Jibu network keeps expanding across Africa, we keep fighting to stop the world water crisis by capitalizing, equipping, and training emerging market entrepreneurs to launch and grow essential service franchises, with drinking water as our anchor product. The Ghana team on the ground led by Sheila Adams (Business Development), Godfred Agyeman (Sales & Franchise Development) and Bright Opoku (Finance) are geared for great success as a new era dawns.
Addressing the gathering at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Jibu Inc, Galen Welsch expressed pride in choosing Madina as the social enterprise’s launchpad into Ghana, disclosing that many franchise points will be opened across Accra in the next couple of years.
Galen stressed that the launch of Ghana is not only a mere ceremony but the launch of a “war” against sachet water.
“I want to announce that today is not just the launch of Jibu Ghana, [but] it is also a launch of a war on sachets. Jibu is here to replace sachet water. We are here to offer refills.”
