20th January 2023 marked a new dawn for the people of Mukono as Jibu launched its 38th Ugandan franchise. For many years the community to fetch clean water from the neighbouring town of Seeta but from now Jibu has finally given them a solution. Besides Jibu Water, included in the service delivery will also be Jibu Gas and Jibu Family Porridge.
“This is a great opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of our people in Mukono but also to put efforts together and to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Uganda” said Racheal Tirwakunda, the Mukono Franchisee.
Our major goal as Jibu is to equip entrepreneurs to create affordable access to drinking water, LPG and fortified porridge in their communities. This in turn creates jobs, environmental preservation and reduction of health issues related to drinking unsafe water.
Well done Jibu Uganda. The future looks bright!
