Jibuntu supports the work of Jibu to reach those who need it the most. Jibuntu is a registered foundation that piggybacks on the work of Jibu to reach those who are not normally reached by Jibu.

De-risking business opportunities: Jibuntu supports youth and women to get access to Jibu Franchises and jobs with subsidised launch costs, mentorships, additional training platforms and access to inventory.
Subsidized water bottles: Jibuntu recognizes the need for affordable and convenient access to clean water for low-income households. Often, the one-off bottle cost is a barrier to drink Jibu water. Jibuntu offers subsidized water bottles filled with purified water to low-income households, after which they only pay for the refills.
Reduced plastic waste: Jibuntu is committed to environmental sustainability. It promotes reusable bottles and reduces single use plastic. It eliminates the usage of charcoal to boil water.
CURRENT IMPACT
In total, we have reached over 6.000 low-income households In Uganda who are continuously using Jibu water.
We have created over 3,000 direct jobs and improved income of 10,000 resellers in low-resource settings.
One Jibu bottle can save up to 20,000 single use plastic bottles.
